Good deal. The interior is outdated like other reviews have stated. It was clean and the service was good. The food was good. We both got soup and salad, drinks, and our main course for under $20. You can’t beat that. The food was good although the lamb was a bit on the dry side. I would like to come back and try their breakfast.
Yuckiest salmon patties in michigan. Salmon patty lunch for $5.89. 1 salmon patty, cup soup, boiled potato, corn, bread. Corn was gray and yellow – wouldnt eat it as I thought I’d get poisoned. Salmon patty had a very hard thick crust; inside was slimy and tasted like slimy old garlic mixed with potatoes. Owner, through waitress intervention said it was supposed to taste like that. When I asked to speak with owner was told she had left and that I had to pay. They never offered me something else to eat either. My daughter and I both said we are never going back there again because of how the owner treated us, and if we survive to eat again, because of that salmon patty. Hope I don’t end up at the hospital tonight.
Consistency/good food. Ok, bottom line is if you want a good meal with the price and the amount of food you receive, this is the place. The owners are kind and who better to do the cooking is the owner? Consistency of the food is perfect. Specials every day and tt is fresh. Who cares of the veg. may be canned,—the meat is freshly cooked every day, the soup is home-made, the mashed potatoes are fresh, and we never leave it seems w/o a doggy bag. The breakfasts are great, the lunches are great and the dinner the same. Friday night is Fish night and would pay double at any other restaurant for this meal.-great mac and cheese on Fridays also. VERY kid friendly- owner always has musical toys going for the kiddos depending on the holiday. Yes, the furniture could be updated, but hey, its CLEAN, no wait to be taken care of–ever. I have alot of foods I cannot eat with the additives and such, and I have never, ever had a reaction. They have been here for YEARS and hope they never do. You won’t be disappointed for a little family restaurant. VERY good food.
GREAT Greek food. This is the place to go for great Greek food in the St. Clair Shores area. Great diner atmosphere and friendly staff.
The Grecian Table is a neighborhood family restaurant. The service is friendly. Prices are very reasonable. The food was excellent. Try the custard pie!
Breakfast. If the blue hairs aren’t whiliing away the hours across the street at Tim Horton’s, they’re here, scarfing down very forgettable breakfast meals.The dining room is dated–think 60’s style, and it seats about 60 people at booths and four tops. From what I’ve heard, the room is filled with customers, open to close. My hash & eggs breakfast was almost tasteless, except the hash had enough salt in it to raise my blood pressure about 10-12 points. Coffee was weak.Service started out okay, then slowed considerably when two large family parties came for breakfast.I may try a $4.95 Businessman’s Lunch here sometime in the future, so I’ll refrain from voting this visit.
