The food is awsome…the service is not up to par though. We have ordered carry out from them numerous times and every time they have forgotten something from the order…everytime! ! Wather its a sauce asked for, side dish or main meal! It is VERY frustrating to have to call, then explain and then to go back and get what you paid for. We have learned the hard way to check our orders before we leave. They wont let you check the order until after you pay so if something is missing you’ll have to sit and wait and then pay again…what a PITA.

A little small; 6 – 4 tops and 5 stools at the counter. 1 waitress, the owner, kitchen staff, that was it. The waitress (very friendly) said that after we were served she had to run deliveries (!) and that the owner would tend to us. Not a real outgoing guy, but not unfriendly. Waiting was not his thing. It should be, he’s the face of the place. This is understaffing and not how an owner should treat customers. However, our dinners were served very promptly. St. Louis-style apple-smoked ribs were excellent. Thick, meaty, tender, perfectly cooked with the right amount of tooth. Smoke / rub combination was great. Ribs pre-cut. 5 sauces available at the table. Seasoned fries, homemade, we liked them. Redskin potato salad and coleslaw fresh and from scratch. Large portions. Only complaint here was that the dressings were a bit bland.To wrap: Someone other than your only waitress for deliveries Behave like you appreciate our business, Mr.ZSpice up the sides a bit.All, in all, good, fresh food, great real-smoked ribs; prompt, friendly service in a nice setting.We’ll return for a second opinion.
