Mikes is definitely a place where you go to enjoy the outdoor patio on the water, although when we arrived the hostess informed us there would be a 1.5 hour wait for two for a table. We weren’t in a hurry but kinda gave up on the idea of sitting outside so opted to chill at the indoor bar. The servers were working hard to appease the hungry crowd, its obvious this place is making money. Hiring a couple extra staff members might curb the rushy feeling you get from the runners. We tried the Escargot which was sauteed in garlic butter, mushrooms and oven baked with Parmesan cheese. By the speed it was devoured Id say it was tasty and delicious. To our surprise only after about 45mins the outdoor hostess alerted us that our table outside was ready. We ordered another drink and the Mini Fish Burgers. I asked for more tartar sauce to indulge on the fried crispy golden brown mini fillets. They hit the spot! A couple of big boats were coming and going as the sunset turned the sky clouds crazy pinks and yellows. kuderik.com
Good food, great outdoor experience. Mike’s has a solid menu and good drinks, but the best part is that you can eat on their deck with a view of the lake and watch the boats coming in to dock. Definitely recommend grabbing a burger here when you want to be outside on a nice day.

Horrible. One of the worst dining experiences that I have had in a VERY loooonnnngggg time!!!! We stopped for a quick bite to eat & it turned into a TWO HOUR dinner. Our service was ridiculiously slow!! The waitress said she was new. If you know a table is waiting for service, have another server take the table! I watched the size section she had & the owner/manager was just setting her up for failure–way too many tables!!! Our food was horrible!! My husband said it was the worst club sandwich he had ever had (the lettuce on the sandwich was perhaps 1 inch x 1 inch!). I had the fish & fries–it was a frozen fish patty that reminded me of a McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish (which would have been better). Save your money or go someplace else!!
My favorite on the Nautical Mile!!. Located in Colony Marina (between 9 and 10 mile on Jefferson), Mike’s sure seems like it will be the place to be this summer! Went for dinner last week with some friends and I felt like I was on vacation! Good service, great burger…I will for sure be spreading the word about this place! Saw drawing in lobby for new deck bar that is opening in May…can’t wait!! Def will be back soon!
