Comfortable family restaurant. Endless pickles are awesome! Reubens are awesome! -Nicely toasted bread with a hefty portion of corned beef and sauerkraut with delicious Russian (Thousand Island) dressing. While I didn’t think the potato salad was all that great and my beef barley soup could have used some stronger flavoring (and maybe some salt), the sandwich definitely made up for it. Came in on a weekend afternoon. The waitresses were all attentive. Restroom was very nicely updated.I will be coming back!Added bonus: this restaurant also has Vernors on tap.
Finally got around to trying this place. Simply amazing. Fresh, delicious food, and large portions. It’s obvious the owners care about food. From their info tags in their table stands about the meat they use, to their mission statement inside the front door proclaiming they strive to surpass customer expectations; this deli is a gem.Possibly the best chicken club I have ever had.
