A nice diner with great food. I would recommend the Greek chicken salad.
Kids menu. This little diner is on my way home from work and I often pick up carry outs for the family. I have been very disapppointed that they issue a Carry-out menu, which includes a Kids section for 10 and younger, but they will not actually honor the kids menu and prices for carry-out. I feel that if I am purchasing 2 dinners in addition to the child’s meal, that there should be no problem to honor those items and prices. In the future, I will choose a diner that honors all items on their carry-out menu.
A Finer Diner. Seems like Palmer’s Inn has been around forever. But the building and the two dining rooms are always clean, bright and neat. I’d call this a finer diner because, in addition to the menu staples offered, Palmer’s always has at least a half-dozen unique, daily specials for all three main meals. This is one of my breakfast stops, inexpensive, and always nicely prepared. My most recent breakfast here was the House Special: three eggs, four rashers of bacon or four sausage links, hash browns & toast. With a beverage, total cost is $5.72. Palmer’s offers 12 different Seniors Dinners for $5.25 also. No liquor.
