It’s So 2002. When I lived around the block from this place ten years ago, I always considered this a solid beer bar. It only had a few taps but a solid bottled selection. Now that I live in Grand Rapids, this place really looks weak for the beer scene because even hillbilly bars in Grand Rapids have a considerable on tap microbrew selection. On tap microbrew is where it’s at, not bottled. This place is so 2002. Plus, the food is only decent.
Waitress forgot to order a beer and an appetizer…gone down hill since last time I was here.
Good food, friendly staff. A bit pricey for the food and for sure drinks.
So so food and horrible service! They got every order at our table of 8 wrong. Took forever to get the food and by the time it came it was overcooked. I used to really like Shores Inn, I went in knowing the service was slow, but now it’s poor as well, so is the food.
Me, too. I can only parrot the review from Stacey N. Our experience here, for a late lunch yesterday was a mirror to her comments. As to our meals, both were above average in taste and plate presentation. At 2:30 PM on a dreary Saturday, the bar and expansive dining room was about 60% occupied–and the only game on the TVs was Southern Miss v. Marshall. So the food and atmosphere must be drawing diners in.
GOOD FOOD, GREAT PRICES!!!. A few months ago my boyfriend my boyfriend suggest that him and I and my son stop in at Shores Inn and have dinner…I must admit when he first mentioned to me what the name of the place was I was a little sketchy about going….it almost sounds like a cheap hotel/ area stop type of establishment….lol. When we first walked in I thought to myself HE** NO…but after having dinner I was very impressed..The food is great and the prices are even better. We have stopped in for dinner quite a few times since then. Everything I tried was awesome. THE ICE NACHOS are like HEAVEN!!!!! I give this place a 10 so far…and guess what I will be returning.
Nice Change. I like how they have changed up their menu from the past. Seems like they made some improvements in the kitchen.
