SCS Local. 4 STARSOutstanding, we ate their for the first time today. We will become regulars from this point on. Everything is home made and fresh. They are closed on Sunday and Monday.
I have been to all the Polish restaurants including Hamtramck this has to be the most cleanest nicest place to have authentic good Polish food in Michigan she will make your food order everything is homemade and you can tell she really loves what she dose I’m sold.
I love this place. Not sure where Joanna is coming from … at all. Celine makes everything from scratch and has an impressive variety. Where else can you find tripe soup? Most of her customers are picking up food to take home, hence, the styrofoam containers.
Celina is a Wonderful Cook!. I have been eating there or getting carry outs since Celina opened this great Polish Kitchen! The food is always wonderful. I think it is a shame that some ONE person out of thousands of customers would write such ridiculous evil comments. Her cooking is identical to the wonderful Polish food I grew up on! Please try it for yourself.
Great food!!!. Celina’s food is awesome! My husband and I are both 100% Polish and the food takes us back to growing up in a Polish family. We recently ordered 150 pierogi from Celina’s for a party and they were a tremendous hit! The bad review below (and the people who agreed) is obviously from a pompous pretentious person (I would hate to think someone this obnoxious could claim to know Polish food or, worse, be Polish!) who cares more about the plates and silverware than the quality of the food! I HIGHLY recommend visiting Celina’s! Wednesday’s are dill pickle soup day!!! 🙂 Everything we have had has been wonderful (pretty much everything on the menu!). Every person at our party (50) raved about the pierogies and asked for the name and location! To the person who posted the bad review below: Buy a box of frozen pierogi and enjoy it on your wedding china!
Joanna. The city chicken was very dry and it is a compleete turnoff to be served on paper plates with the elcheapo white plastic forks and knives. buy a dishwasher and serve people the correct way for a restaurant who want to eat on real plates. Mashed potatoes were dry also and tasted like the instant boxed variety which they probably were. Real hot beets should be mixed with sour cream. Also a larger variety of pierogi – dough very thick. Not a repeat visit.
Good polish food. The food here is absoulutely delicious. the czarnina, beet soup and pierogies are great. real polish food!!! we will be going there often
