Looked forward to the numerous restaurants when i moved into the neighborhood. Waves proved to be a disappointment. Food quality, portions, and presentation poor in reference to price. Waitress seemed preoccupied with flirting with the men seated at a table nearby. Restroom was dirty. Fishbones a few blocks down has proven to be a much better dining experience.

Cute decor, love the steel drum music. Waitstaff was friendly and the swordfish cooked perfectly as well as the Cuban sweet mash. We will be back!

I ordered the ribs at a fish place that turned put to be a huge mistake the ribs tasted as if they had been marinated in fish oil. I was absolutely disgusted. I then gave the Miami Heat Pasta a try and once again was disappointed the low quality of the chicken that was in it and the undercooked shrimp sealed the deal. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO WAVES EVER AGAIN!

My husband our son and I are new to the area and decided to try waves. Everything about all of are meals was great! We had chicken noodle soup which was very flavorful tasty there bread was awesome which they gave us 6 rolls. I had a side salad with soy vingerette dressing topped with silvered almonds it was very large in size for a side salad everything compliment each other it was delicious. Our main course included there fish and chips, Maui Maui, and my son had Maui Maui off the kids menu with red skins. Everything was excellent and perfectly cooked our bill was only 37.00 we did not order drinks (just water) except my son which came with his meal. Our service was excellent and they had a Hawaii dancer for entertainment. I will be going back and highly recommend waves to anyone!

Wonderful waitstaff, dreadful food. ‘Asian’ chicken soup full of lumpy, tasteless protein, bean sprouts, and sliced button mushrooms. Chicken breasts 1/2 inch deep in soupy, sticky sauce. Good rolls, otherwise incredibly unappealing food.

I am NOT a seafood eater. I decided to come here and try the fish. I had the salmon. I love it. I get it all the time now. For a really picky eater to eat this you know it has to be good. They have really good salads with great dressings to choose from. If you are lucky the owner will come to your table and give you a coupon for your next visit. Always had good service and the decor is fun and exciting. I go back again and again.

I like it. I’m not sure how everyone seems to dislike this place. I’ve been there several times without a problem. I have not really ordered from the seafood side of the menu so maybe that’s where the problem is. To me the pork chops are the best.
