Great place to eat. I think this is a great place to eat. We have eaten there a few times, we dont live near the restaurant, the food was good, the service top notch, nice smiles. You will love it
Was excited to see fried perch on the daily specials board, this blinded me to the overly extensive menu that usually means, well, just okay food ~ which is what I was served ~ and for me life is too short to eat very much of just okay food, the salad was good, the service was good, but the food didn’t leave me feeling good
Very Decent Diner. My teen wants to eat here almost every day. They make scrambled egg whites just the way he likes them. Their omelets are very good. I’ve also had good egg salad, tuna, and BLT sandwiches and decent cheeseburgers. Soups are homemade (navy bean and chicken noodle are my favorites). Bacon is too dry, sometimes the toast is too light or too dark. Ask to add your own real butter. Pancakes are not terrific — boxed mix. Apple pie is good. I can recommend the Greek salad. Spinach pie microwaved so not crisp. Haven’t delved into too much more. Oh yeah, pulled pork is OK but a bit too sweet for me (I suspect high fructose). April (waitress) is the best!
Wonderful Experience. I don’t know where the previous comments came from but I have eaten there numerous times and each time the food has been great! From breakfast to dinner and everything in between, my food has always come out hot and delicious! I would recommend this restaurant in an instant if you want good home style cooking!
Boxed mash potatoes. Need I say more? Service was fine, but it was clear that very little effort goes into the food.
Bad Experience. You know it was a bad experience when the only good things were the busboy and the water. Stale bread, dry salmon, thin, shoe-leather eggplant, noisy kitchen and wait staff, etc., etc.
