Good service good food.. I recommend more than just ‘normal Coney Island food’ sure its called senate Coney Island, but the food is so much more. I recommend the steak and the salmon.
Since the new owners took over a couple years ago, I have frequently enjoyed eating here. The food was priced occordingly, and the specials are great every time I’m there.
Very SATISFIED customer. I was driving through town with my family, we stopped into the Senate and I must say was very pleased with the food and portions that were served to us. Prices were also very generous. i must recommend the soup and Greek salad, it was awsome.. We will be back.
Smells like a dirty mop bucket. Went in and nearly empty. Sat down and waited five minutes for a waitress to come to our table. She appologized but there was another waitress working who totally ignored us. She also greeted and took orders from two tables that came in after us. From the time we sat till the time we were served was 25 minutes. Greek salad was a simple tossed salad with pepperchini and feta cheese dripping with water. Two sandwiches served, neither with a plate garnish (just sandwich on a white plate) one was a very small pita wrap and the second was a club with BURNT toast. Needless to say, I was done. Sent sandwich back. Got the bill, paid it and left.I have given this place the benifit of doubt due to conveinance, but will never spend another dime in that place.
Way over priced, with having to buy everything a la carte. Also, my fries tasted like fish. When I complained, the waitress and the chef were very adament that I was mistaken. They even tried to give another plate and insisted that I try them, even after I repeatedly refused them. Have not been there since, and will never go again.
