Good service and the best fatoosh salad and hummus around. Shwarma’s are also a favorite. We go there frequently.
YUM. By far the best middle eastern food around. The hummus is great. The warm bread with garlic dip they serve you when you are seated is to die for. The Shish Tawook and Schwarma are phenomenal. I go here as often as I can, and the prices are cheap too!
The waitress let me order the beef kabob dinner for $15, when she could have told me the same meal was on a lunch special for $7.99. That will be my first and last time at this place!
Fresh, healthy and flavorful!. We are huge fans of Alex-Kabob. It’s our favorite of the Middle-Eastern / Mediterranean eateries downriver. It’s a smallish place but they do a huge carry-out business. The food is fresh and well prepared, service is always excellent and the food is terrific. The Garlic dip is amazing. Do try the David Basha or the Chicken Shawarma (my favorites). Portions are very generous and prices are very reasonable.
We ordered 3 different entres and the only thing we ate were the hummus and lentil soup 🙁 Service was very good though.
The food taste good..the only thing I wonder about is the chicken. I get all white meat and when its served and cut up, there’s half of it that looks like dark meat. Why? I never see dark meat when I cut up my chicken breasts at home or for that matter, any other restaurant I go to. Only when I order it from a few middle eastern restaurants. Why is this? Is it really chicken meat I wonder. I’ve mentioned it but they say..oh no, that’s white. I wanna know.. anybody else notice this.? Email me if you have noticed this same thing. My address is [email protected]. thank you!
The best by far Arabic food Downriver. This place really knows how to make very fresh and inviting foods. The hummous is # 1 anywhere for me. The service always great along with Kafta and lentil soup will keep you coming back. Take a look at the website for details and menu. albeerpoe.blogspot.com
