Tried the asada, Barbados and trips tacos on both flour and corn tortillas. Delectable, absolutely delicious. Had to sample the rice and beans while here, both tasty. The horchata was not as sweet or cinnamony as the usual, so for me not so sweet is a great option. Will return, so many other meat choices to try and other menu items. Wish the place is closer.
Whole Chicken. Gotta try the whole chicken in either bbq or grilled at El Rey. They have a grilling shack outside and the smoke and flavor of the grilled chicken is amazing. A true work of art in the chicken domain! A whole chicken with sides is only $11, so your wallet isn’t drained! Great stuff!13 May, 2012Delish Tacos. Jumped in for three tacos and a big glass of Jamaica today for lunch. Two carne asada and one cartinas. Excellent. $1.50 each and about $1.75 for the glass of ruby red Jamaica. Looks dodgy from the outside, but friendly place inside. Next time, I’ll probably get two cartinas and one asada……. I’ll be back!

SW Detroit very bestest Pollo Grilled Chicken Smoked over Lump charcoal, yes the Smoked flavor a little blackened makes for explosive flavor in each bite, get this a whole Chicken dinner with 10 pcs, Rice, Beans n Tortilla only $ 11.50 it feeds 3 Meal Deal ALERT, also fantastic Quesadilla n Tacos along with cheap Beer prices make this a must try.
