Classic joint to say the least! Prices are fantastic! Burgers have very little meat… I know, I know its a slider but I have to say Motz’s kick Telways butt! The Hillbilly chili is just a can of hormel, pretty disappointing! Onions were nice and crunchy and tasty. I did get the coffee to go which I have to say is damn good. All.in all I would say hit this place for more of the experience but hit Motz for the slider! Enjoy!
A true SW Detroit Classic. Only a true Southwest Detroiter knows to cure any ache or ailment- You just go grab a bag of burgers and coffee from Telways. A bag of greasy, oniony burgers wrapped in wax paper with mustard and ketchup. Coffee?- A double double or my favorite- a triple triple. Thats it. You could get a single single but thats not fun to say lol. Your in and out, but with the rest of the hood too.Dont let the outside, or the inside, or the rest of the customers scare you off. Your love of burgers will keep you safe. Theres no room to sit, – Maybe a few stools if you go in thru the front but the majority of the business is done thru the back/side. You come in thru a door, stand in line, and order off a little menu in black and white on the wall behind the ladys head. Not much conversation goes on, just order. When you pay, go around to the other window and wait for you burgers. They got fish and other stuff too. But everything is second the the burgers.

Hell yeah. Telway a Detroit staple…..best double double coffee in the city, burgers are great and small think similar to white castles and hillbilly chili is awesome, small cramped place but so worth it you can eat ur behind off for about 5 bucks come on……..lol keep up the great work telway!!!!!

Great sliders, awesome prices!. This is a little hole-in-the-wall diner. There menu is small and the seating area is even smaller. But the food is fast, hot, and cheap. Get a couple cheeseburgers and fries for a couple bucks. Awesome after a night of drinking plus they’re open all night!
