I was coaxed in to the cozy pub, And the Salads and baked potatoes are my fav! Oh yah and their Bloody Mary is it.
Looks like I wrote the last posted review in June. We are in Traverse City again and had lunch at Boone’s. The featured hamburger was the Cherry Blue Cheese burger. It was great with lots of Cherries and Blue Cheese. Fun stop for a good burger. Friends of ours love this spot and once you step in, you can tell the locals love it, too. We had friendly service and giant, tasty burgers. A great spot to hit for lunch or dinner when driving around.
Burgers are awesome and the steaks are good too. This is a first come first serve restaurant so you may have to wait awhile to be seated. Food is definitely worth the wait. Small restaurant but very intimate. Nice place.Food prices are on the pricy side but not too bad.
Once Was, is No More. Previously, had rated Boone’s highly for it’s simple and good fare. No more. Something in the kitchen has slipped, likely the management. Food quality has declined dramatically.

More than a pub. Boone’s is a cozy, small-town feeling, place with solid classic fare. Great burgers, fish, salads, and sides. Nothing gourmet or unexpected. Just plain old good food. Recommended.
