Excellent Asian Food. One of our main reasons for traveling up north is to enjoy the local/organic foodie culture in ascendancy there…but sometimes you just want Chinese food. This is the place to go in Leelanau County — one of only two establishments in the entire county that specialize in Asian dishes. The menu is not extensive, but what they offer they do very well.On our last visit I ordered Thai fried noodles with chicken — outstanding. My partner ordered, I think, sesame chicken, and was also very pleased with her meal. The hot-and-sour soup was one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. We also liked the egg rolls…not too greasy; tasty filling.Service was swift and courteous.I would compare Hang-On favorably with the Chinese takeout we’ve had in NYC.
Extraordinary people!. Since you’ve no where else to go in the leelaunaw county, be sure to stop by hang on express. Been going for years, cant preach enough how great the service is. I’m from the capital area and with an array of chinese food around me, none of them hit the spot quite like the Hang’s. if your a frequent vacationer of the county be lazy the correct way and make damn sure you order some general tsao from hang-on

Hang-On. This is not an excellent chinese food restaurant by New York standards, but the best and only one you’ll get in Leelanua County as far as Chinese go’s if your to lazy to cook. Many dishes seem to be missing a few key ingredients. Some of the dishes taste better after you have added a few more touches to it at home. If they would just add a delivery service that could deliver to your cottage they would be golden.
