If you like fresh made Thai food then this is the place for you. Best Thai food you will find in GR and the staff is very friendly. Tamas’ review is surprising. Maybe He/she is used to over salted buffet fare.

We have had Pad Thai from a number of places so we ordered that from Thai Express…it was by far the worst Pad Thai either of us have had. The food was dry, missing basic ingredients, and just all around plain. I would definitely not recommend this place if you are looking for fresh, tasty Thai food.

The Best!. Hands down my favorite restaurant in town. I try to get there at least once a week. The food is the most authentic Thai food you will find in Grand Rapids. Don’t let the location fool you, this is AMAZING food! It’s always fresh and the lunch special can’t be beat. Where else can you get a spring roll, salad, entree, and dessert for under $10 WITH tip? The service is also top notch. I’ve never found a friendlier place around here. It’s so wonderful to be in a restaurant where they know your name and always know your order!

My frequent craving killer!. The interior is not as flashy as the majority of thai restaurants in the area- but the food topples over others. Thai Fusion and Thai Bistro do not compare whatsoever wit h the quality of the food in Thai Express. The service is adorable, and the peanut curry (spicy 10 please!) is to die for. The only thai food of the same calibre in the area is little bangkok, but Thai Express is significantly more affordable. They offer you dessert with your meal – one of my very favorite spots around.

A place to try! If you’re looking to try some Thai food , this is the place to go! Fairly cheaper than most Thai restaurants in the area and is very authentic! Always a friendly atmosphere. The only thing I would say is probablly agreeing with the previous user about the spice scale. I’m a big fan of spice so it didn’t bother me much but for those who aren’t stick to the lower end. All in all, great Thai restaurant!

Great Authentic Thai Food. We actually saw a friends review of this restaurant and decided to try it. Upon pulling up to this location, it looked a little run down but we are SO glad that didn’t stop us! Mom does the cooking, daughters run the restaurant. The food is amazing, but beware, the spice scale here is quite a bit hotter than what we are used to. Where we normally order medium, a 2-3 on a scale of ten was definitely hot enough. The Tom Yum soup was fresh, well seasoned and full of veggies and protein. The pad thai is some of the best I have ever had. We went today for our third time and my husband ordered the drunken noodles and they were even better than the pad thai. I could eat this daily!! The prices are cheaper than any other Thai restaurant in Grand Rapids. Definitely will be here again and again!!
