  MI Grille is located at 420 Munson Avenue in Traverse City, Michigan. It is directly in front of the Country Inn & Suites and adjacent to the Knights Inn. While it can be difficult to find the first time, you will never forget it afterwards! The owner is Keil Moshier and he opened up on July 9, 2012. They are Traverse City locals- they put their money back into other locally owned businesses and services, and isnt that the point? With a casual attire and warm welcoming staff, its a great choice for family outings, date nights, and parties as they take reservations for groups of 20 or more and are excellent for large groups with 2 dining rooms and a separate banquet room. They offer catering services, amazing desserts and fresh baked breads as well as pretzel buns that are to die for! Take out is also an available option. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and are open from 7 am to 10 pm Monday thru Saturday and 7am to 2 pm on Sundays. Looking for more information? I love the Cheddar Ale dip and Fresh Pretzel Bites, the Truffle Potato Pierogis, Blueberry Granola Pancakes and French toast are superb and the Omelets are beyond compare, they offer an option called Bay Town Style which is any omelet with fries into the eggs and the toppings over the top its delish Local Brisket Hash. Seriously do I really even need to elaborate on how awesome that is? I rave about the wedge salad because it is simple and mouthwatering and divine all in one. How does that even happen? I dont know, I dont ask, I just eat it and love every second of it! My absolute favorite sandwich is the Turkey Club on a pretzel bun but a close second is the smoked beef brisket The first time I had the BLT I was taken back by the thick bacon because I was so used to it being a cheap crispy bacon and it wasnt, it was thick and juicy and had such a rich amazing flavor that I am forever ruined on BLTs now as in theres no way I can eat them anywhere else! But honestly my absolute favorite menu item is the Baby Back Ribs dry rubbed slow cooked. Ugh my mouth is watering just thinking about them; Keil makes an amazing BBQ sauce that is unmatched anywhere else. And for $22 for a full slab and only $12 for a half you cant go wrong! The lemon and dill salmon is seared to perfection and Im not just saying that, every time I eat it I am jealous that I cant get mine to come out so perfect at home. The roasted chicken fusilli is another favorite and even though the roasted vegetable lasagna no longer has eggplant, the roasted vegetables and house made tomato sauce with 3 cheeses is enough to make anyone salivate at the thought. I havent even begun to list the half of it because we havent even talked pizza yet building your own pizza is where its at anyways, but the topping choices here are beyond compare and the thin crispy crust is unique in itself, sure you can get thin crust elsewhere, but not like this, there is just something about it that tantalizes your taste buds unlike any other. We cant forget to talk about Wild Bills Root Beer Floats or Orange cream soda floats with Northwoods local TC sodas and Palazzolos vanilla gelato cookies.breads.pastries.. Seriously. I cant make this stuff up! The wine and beer selection is staggering and enough to blow anyones mind. The Service is unparalleled. If there is one thing I can say about the staff at MI Grille, it is that they will go above and beyond to do whatever it takes to ensure your satisfaction. All you have to do is ask. A closed mouth doesnt get fed. You cant just go somewhere and expect people to read your mind anywhere ask them for what you want and this is one place that you are sure to get it!The dcor enhances the experience and isnt distracting as you see in many restaurants lately. The ambiance is warm and inviting and so are the staff members, the music is never inappropriate and always classy and family friendly. They really are always eager to please and bend over backwards if only youll ask. I think this is one of the things that makes MI Grille so unique, and such a distinguished establishment. There are many restaurants in Traverse City, a self-proclaimed foodie town, but none that do it quite like MI Grille. If you havent been, its definitely worth a try, you wont be disappointed and if you have but had a less then paramount experience, perhaps its time to try again. Its definitely worth it. My favorite thing is being able to unwind with a local pint in such a calm and friendly environment devour the indulgences in life.   What a wonderful surprise! we wandered in to BTK and were amazed by the creative dishes, fresh ingredients, and knowledgeable waitstaff. We both had omelettes that were the best I can remember eating. Really.

  Amazing food! Our family had a variety of menu items and was not disappointed in any of them. There was a long wait for the food but it was worth it. Great waitress too!

  Hidden gem! Fresh ingredients, creative menu, & great prices. We loved the lemon poppyseed pancakes and the veggie & goat cheese omelet. We will definitely come back!
