If you love burgers they will not disappoint. Before 5 Guys, Smashburger and Bagger Daves, there was Bubbas! They are open for breakfast. And I have to say they had a summer drink with raspberry Chambord I still make to this day
Solid breakfast. Creole sauce on the scrambled eggs was delicious. Jalapeno cheddar waffle with maple sriracha syrup and fried chicken/ waffles was delicious.
Chicken and waffles with sriracha maple syrup was great combination. Only down side is the waffles were a little mushy.
Smells Like a Preschool. Sounds Like One Too.. If you are one of those parents that thinks it is ok to allow your children to scream, run around, and throw food in restaurants, then this is the place for you. Seriously. Please go here and nowhere else. You and your precious snowflakes can have it. Last time I was in there, being able to see the armpit hair of the bartender was enough to get me to write it off for good, and I live walking distance from the place. I understand though, once you’ve made the fashion commitment to wear shorts to your restaurant job in February, well, sleeves would just look stupid.
Bubba’s for bugers. Weekend trip in search of a great burger on a busy Sunday afternoon. Pretzels and dipping mustard was a nice starter and much appreciated. We chose olive, bubba, rodeo, haystack, and the special of the day (curry mayo) burgers with fries, sweet fries, and tots among the 6 of us. Blood Mary $2 special was spicy and refreshing as well. Burgers were big and prepared well. Fries and tots were prepared just right. Service was very attentive and top notch. Thumbs up all the way around. See you next time we are in town!
Just blah.. Waited 30 minutes to eat on a Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. They are very slow to turn tables. We watched 25 people leave and it took the staff 15 minutes to seat new patrons. The food was average, my husband and son got steak burritos and I orderd the turkey and mashed potatoes. We should have ordered burgers like everyone else! Food was bland, my turkey had a strange aftertaste. We also ordered the gumbo which was mystery ingredients and lots of okra. We waited 10 minutes for a waitress, she did great after finally arriving!
Good Food, Service Lacking. Like the burgers and the reuben, both were excellent. And we love the chowder, one of the best in town. Can do without the service however. Indifferent bartenders always seem to prefer chatting to actually waiting on somebody. have seen people sit and be ignored. not what you need in this competitive environment. i’ll be back because of the food for now, but they need to train the staff to at least pretend to care about their customers.
