Less then impressed. I had a turkey with cheddar and a cup of chiken and rice soup. The turkey was slimey and very low grade the cheddar had no taste at all mostly I think becuase of the piles of mayo on it. The soup was clearly pre-made I couldn’t really tell if it was pourd out of a can or a bag.Now I understand I order a very simple sandwich but it’s the simple things that really show the grade of food your eating and the care that was taken with it.
Love CHEF’s In!. Quick, delicious, fresh sandwiches. Would eat there everyday if I could. Puts other sandwich places to shame. Only complaint is that they close early.
I think it’s their bread. Not huge sandwiches, but delicious. With Chef’s Inn, Fieldstone’s and (now) Swiches, anyone going to a chain place in the TC area should be promptly taken to the old mental hospital and locked away.
My favorite Saturday lunch spot.. Fresh ingredients, homemade bread, and hometown love in each sandwich and cup of soup. This place is NOTHING LIKE QUIZNOS OR SUBWAY. Five stars.
Old Sckool meets New Kool. I like local watering holes- and this place has the dcor and locals to make it a great hangout. Plus, it has the food to back it up. You have to try the lasagna on Thursday.
Been eating here for years. The food hasn’t changed. It’s still amazing every time. Best sandwiches in Traverse City, rivaled only by the Cheese Shanty in Leland. Prices are still competetive.
The Chefs In is pretty much like subway or quiznos, except for the fact that the Chef’s In has fresher, better tasting food. the Chef’s in is one of a kind.
