Rude service. The owner and server were both very rude to me and my family when we called an order ahead and came to pick it up. I expected better from a small business like this… Especially in a town that is supposed to be so welcoming to visitors. I will not come And get food here again. Not a good family environment.
Not impressed. Very unpleasant experience. Rude. Dirty. Would not visit again.
Small special local treasure!. Get in where you fit in and dont pass judgement…the espresso will impresso and the food will delight. Dont leave TC without savoring some of Frenchie’s famous eats!
Tiny, funky old timey place with amazing coffee and great food. Don’t come for fawning, or even quick service! But waitstaff is friendly, ambience is great, and it’s just fine to slow down and enjoy all that while you get your meal. Highly recommended.
This place is absolutely terrible. If you’re a hippie/acid using/rude person maybe this is your place. The staff was rude as soon as we walked in. The waiter(who looked like he just rolled out of bed) took our order and came back with glasses half full of water. We tried to make conversation and were courteous but he said nothing in return. Finally when he brought us our bill(without even asking) he put all 4 tabs on the same check and said it couldn’t be split up on 2 cards. I paid $9.50 for an awful BBQ pulled pork sandwich that came with nothing and will NEVER be returning.
I don’t know where all the talk about poor service comes from. We are relatively new in town and tried Frenchies on a whim. Shabby chic and the best sausage gravy I’ve ever tasted. The baked goods and coffee are also great highlights. The bahn mi left a little to be desired but still a nice fresh sandwich. Our waitress was one of the sweetest people in the industry. All in all, quirky and neighborhoody and highly recommended for breakfast.
