NO THANKS. There are lots of great restaurants in TC but this is not one of the best. It’s cramped, very loud, some food is stale. Just not a comfortable place to relax, unless you are able to relax with all that noise. Numerous other restaurants have great breakfasts (and we go to breakfast every day all over 3 counties). I would highly recommend that you PASS UP this restaurant. I see all the goo reviews and think those people must be friends or related to the owners or someone who works there?
Fabulous food, and perfect portion sizes! Our bill ended up being 10 per person, and so worth it! Closed on Sunday’s, but this upcoming week I plan on running in for a breakfast bit! I caught a glimpse of some great looking muffins on my way out. The staff was so kind and we chose to sit in the lovely weather, definitely a ‘must’ to eat at.

A great place for a good healthy lunch!. I go to Green house Cafe every now and then and I think my faorite part of this establishment is the enviroment inside. It will surely change your mood if you’ve been out in the cold rain or snow! Lots of plush green plant paintings on the walls, unique ceiling fans that look like thier from a south American resort, and a large skylight window, letting in the sun that we often do not see in Travere during the Fall, or Winter months. Their lunch portions are a great size, and always VERY fresh tasting. With their staff, you are always greeted with a warm friendly smile. Great little spot for lunch or breakfast downtown.
The baked oatmeal is literally, no exaggeration, the best breakfast in town.
Lobster Quesadilla = WIN. I love quesadillas in that they are a simple package that can easily contain a lot of flavor. The lobster, cheese, pepper, and pineapple quesadilla at green house cafe is awesome.Also loved the earthy, refreshing atmosphere.
Friendly but cramped. Good service. Simply sandwiches, but people are piling in, and the popping of potato chip bags can be heard along Front Street. Egg salad was tasty and fresh as was the piled high turkey, but on stale bread. Probably an exception to the rule. Coffee was perfect. Would go back if in mood for deli sandwich on tbe pricey side.
