One of my favorites….However, I have been here twice in the last months. The food has been OK and so has the service. A bit of a disappointment.
Nice French food, good staff. We didn’t realize that they closed at 2:00 on Wednesdays, and we walked in around 1:50 or so. They were not at all put off that we were there at closing time, and instead of telling us sorry, come back another day, they sat us down to serve us. I had the oeufs Norwegian, with gravlax and hollandaise, and the salmon was perfect, moist and sweet with tangy thick hollandaise and capers. A mimosa washed it all down wonderfully. My friend had French pancakes, which were tasty, although I find pancakes a little boring. All in all, a delicious meal.
Great food, ok service. The restaurant is not very large so getting seated can take awhile if you arrive during the breakfast rush. I had the strawberry French waffle and thought it was one of the best waffles I’ve ever had. Girlfriend had the normande crepe and thought it was good, but had a little to much spring greens and was surprised by how large it was. The only complaint is once we were seated it took awhile for service because we were at the seats right next to front door and they are harder to be seen at from the rest of the restaurant.
Go to amical
Had breakfast there the other day, had been once before for brunch with friends. Food is good, reasonably priced and we like the bistro atmosphere.
WORST FOOD EVER!. It was an hour and twenty minutes before our dinner arrived COLD HOTDOGS AND RUBBER SCALLOPS. Lilet had turned to vinegar! HOW DOES THIS PLACE SURVIVE IN A FOODIE TOWN LIKE TC???!! On the positive, the server was very sweet and the escargot quite good, but, still: you want good seafood, go to Red Lobster (or any of the 30 places we’ve sampled since moving just NOT HERE!!!) Never written a review for bad food before…you are forewarned!
I love eating here. Very good breakfast/brunch.
