I would have taken a picture but I was too hungry. We ordered the beignets and they were excellent. I ordered the Omelet Pannequet and it was delicious Loved the bchamel sauce and the toast that came with it was the BEST. Will definitely be back our next trip to Traverse City.

Look, there is something special about this place and that’s why I keep coming back. The food is stellar for the most part. I continue to want to experiment with the menu trying new things and hardly ever am I disappointed. I have had nearly everything on the menu and I can tell you the food is a 5 out of 5 for sure. However this place has its significant draw backs. While the staff is friendly and helpful they take their sweet time getting orders in, serving food, getting drinks and asking to your satisfaction if everything is good. While this is surely a struggle from time to time I go, I can’t help but think that it might because they are understaffed and restricted to their space and will power. If your anxious about getting food and being impressed with your wait time and service, patisserie might not be for you…HOWEVER, I have found the solution. Because patisserie is not a place to miss in terms of quality food. My tip is to go by yourself or with your party as early as possible! And I mean like waiting by the doors at 8am if you can. When patisserie gives you the attention you disserve without the distractions of to many costumers, the experience is truly amazing. Since I’ve been doing this I have had a much more enjoyable experience at patisserie and I encourage you to use this trick! Definitely don’t miss out on patisserie, and hopefully this tip will help make your experience fantastic!
