Food is good…service is good….but:Beware the Traverse City Parking Nazis. The street in front of Rare Bird has an unusual, poorly marked, and as it turns out, illegally narrow back-in parking system. And, TC merrily hands out tickets, supporting their little mis-planned DDA with your hard-earned funds.Rare Bird is not the problem, but they COULD save their diners a ticket by mentioning the problem at the time they are seated, AND, using their muscle as a downtown business to force the city to back off this stupid plan. Even the manager (after I got my ticket) tells a story about how he got towed and fined. No comment, though, when we were seated…no sign….nothing to warn you what is coming. It ruined what would have been a good lunch for me
