Ever wanted to go to a brewery, but turned off because they didn’t offer day-care? Are you a middle-aged white woman looking to get drunk in walking distance from a salon? Here’s the place for you! Ugh. Hipsters ahoy.
Don’t Bother with this Place. When RBB first opened, it was a lively place to go to try quality beers. Now…the place is very quiet and the bartenders and owner are cranky. And that isn’t fun. I guess that would be OK if they still had the huge variety of quality beer, but they have neither.
Great place go a beer. This is what beer is meant to taste like…..not something from a metal can or stale from a bottle. I wish it was more around town at my favorite food places
Great beer…. I haven’t visited for a while but from what I remember the beer was great. Maybe.some things have changed, but judge for yourself. Great local artwork, and a nice local hang out. Make your decision for yourself.
Not Worth Going To. I am fairly familiar with Right Brain, since I have been going there for about 2 years – it’s been open a little longer than that. The original brewmaster was great, but as of June 2010 he is no longer there. I have gone there twice since then and have no intention of returning. The beer selection went from 10+ to five. The guys brewing now (Corey who is a chef and Russ who is a hairdresser) have very little experience and it shows. The last beer I had was the Brown Ale – sharp aftertaste, unpleasant flavor and no carb. Nasty, nasty, nasty. My friends tried a few others – Cherry and black IPA. We all had the same reviews and in particular the black IPA couldn’t even be finished it tasted so bad.
What were they thinking?. John Niedermaier made this place what it is. Now he is gone! And the assistant brewmaster is gone too! Don’t know who is brewing now, but it is swill compared to what they used to produce.
Not the best. The place is cool to hang out, nice and relaxed but the beer has too many flavors. Tomato and basil beer?? I just tried a sampling of Jolly Pumkin beer and was blown away! Really good. Has anyone tried? I’d def recommend!
