Terrible!!!!. Terrible service. i give it a 1 out of 10 and that is being nice. We waited 6 minutes for a server, we waited another 12 minutes for our drinks. I couldn’t even order another drink without flagging our server down. If this restaurant makes money and is able to stay open then they are saying their prayers. Guest service should be your number one priority and it seems like trying to make your restaurant look good is your only priority. Get better servers if you want to stay open.
Reviews are very misleading. I have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Some of the reviews posted are by people that have NEVER eaten there. How is that fair?
Very good. Hard to believe this the first review for this delightful place. a wide choice of in house created delights. this time I lost myself in a favorable lamb burger. we make use lamb at home and this is a worthy creation.
Dinner for 11, excellent food, appetizers and swordfish , salmon, mussels
Had lunch at The Franklin and it was very good. The staff was great. The food was very nice. The beer selection was plentiful. I didn’t have wine but kudos to the sommelier for a wide varietal selection and good options for glass and bottle
Unfortunately the rumors are true.. Like everyone else, I think the deck is beautiful. I was very excited to have a new place that seats outside in TC. However, the food was literally inedible. I have never been moved to write a restaurant review before, but this place was so bad it was shocking. Nobody in our group liked anything. Even the dipping sauces were not good. its hard to fathom, considering that Stella is such an outstanding restaurant.
Beautiful building, Blah menu. Went out for dinner and drinks with a foursome. The cocktails were very good as was the service. The food however left much to be desired. My stuffed poblano pepper was very bland, similar comments were made about my companions selections as well. We also tried a desert, the founders stout float which consisted of a scope of ice cream in a beer, which tasted no better than it sounds. Over all this place would be a hit if it simply changed their menu, until then, Traverse City has much much better fare available elsewhere and at better prices to boot.
