Good soup, inconvenient pay. The soup ranges from good to really good! They have different kinds every day, and they’re nice enough to let you sample, which means those soups you never heard of you can taste and discover they’re pretty darned good! The reason I don’t go back as often as I otherwise would is they don’t accept credit or debit cards. The first couple of times, I was embarrassed because I don’t carry much cash, then I just stopped going unless I had cash. Result–plenty of times I would have gone to the Soup Cup, I go someplace instead, opting for a place that offers payment options convenient for ME. There are plenty of us who pay for everything with debit cards!
Excellent! Found this place while exploring TC & so glad I did.
Best soup ever. OK, I think of myself as a good cook, most people tell me I am, but I have never made or tasted soup as good as the Soup Cups! Who would have thought that a simple cup of soup could be a gourmet experience. Best soup ever. Great fries too.
Great food, service could be better.. First off, the food is great! I had a grilled cheese and fries, so good. The prices are a bit high, but it’s local so I get it. The girl that served me clearly did not know what she was doing, but she was nice. The other girl was very unprofessional as she was outside smoking and talking on her phone. You should have a designated area for this, not someplace your customers can see. The place is clean enough, so that is not an issue. Honestly the only issue I had were the workers. Once again, food was great.
Yummo!. I actually got turned around going to a friends house one day and ended up in the parking lot of the soup cup! Boy am I glad I did! Talk about yummy sammies…I had an apricot sammie. It was delish. The soup I had was very good too. I don’t remember the name of it. It was something like beef p….I don’t know the last word. It was good! The girl that helped me was really nice. I think her name was Melissa or Melanie..M something (sorry, I’m bad with names). She was very nice and I enjoyed talking to her. The owners are awesome. The music is good. What else to say? It was great!
Excellent Experience. I stopped by after watching the broadcast that channel 9&10 did…I was very pleased with the food and the service! I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend The Soup Cup to anyone!
Great soup, great people!. I love soup! So why not stop in and have soup at The Soup Cup? They use Michigan products. Great start! Also, they are lactose and gluten friendly…not to mention VEGAN! I can have soup and not feel guilty about it. They use natural products, nothing processed. Healthy and yummy! The staff is very friendly, and the owners are extremely nice. FOOD: Not only do they have 8 different soups each day of the week, but they have Belgian fries and grilled cheeses. They have the typical American, Swiss and Pepper Jack, but they also have Apricot Cream Cheese, Braised beef and cheddar and Carnitas and pepper jack. All great!!! They are open Tuesday-Friday 11am-4pm, and Saturday 11am-3pm. Stop in and enjoy some soup!!!
