Atlas Satisfied. The Soup Cup Microsouperie delivers the best single-bowl stovetop satisfaction in four counties. Interestingly, it does so using a reverse Ayn Rand cooking philosophy. Starting with the ingredients, chosen by the staff for their moral commitment to help the other parts of each soup. And the cooks: rather than using the Rational Egoism cooking approach – resulting in bowls of independent, selfish, self-reliant parts – they use Collectivist methods which respect the interdependence of vegetables, meats, spices, heat and water. In so doing, the Soup Cup Microsouperie rejects Rands belief in the Virtue of Selfishness and Constitutionally-Limited Cooking, and instead focusses on what really counts: soup, bread, kitchen, customer, store, community. Ok, forget the pompous blah blah blah. Go to the Soup Cup; its worth your salt. Especially on a dreary day when cabin fever coming on. The soup is hot, and the owner and staff are very Cool.
