Four of us just enjoyed a great meal. Everything we had was great, some of the best meals we ever had. Our server was the best, with good advice and recommendations. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Birthday disappointment. We took another couple out for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Service was excellent and they got us seated quickly even though we did not have a reservation. Oysters were succulent, but the flank steak was tough and improperly cut. Two people ordered it and said nothing til later. Understanding this happens I was disappointed in the owners response to our email. Next time we are in he will buy us a appetizer or dessert. We will not be back with that response for some time. Minimum expectation would have been certificates to replace average food in what is supposed to be an exceptional restaurant. In all fairness the rest of the meals were good and reasonably priced. Desserts were very good. Avoid the steak! To bad they don’t back up their reputation.
It was busy so we had to sit at the bar but the service was great. Food was outstanding albeit small portions.
Best spaghetti bolognaise I have ever had
I went out tonight with my husband and work buddies to Tuscan Bistro and I just have to say I was far impressed. It was super busy and the service was still excellent. The food came out hot and beautiful. The portion was a little large for the half size but it was filling and good for take home. I enjoyed a nice bottle of red wine and sat on the patio. Had a wonderful time.
The quality of food and atmosphere was great! Service was ok and portions were some what small.
Recommended by friends. We went for a pre-Christmas dinner with friends and enjoyed the prix fixe menu, including a bottle of wine, appetizer, entree and dessert. A little heavy on the garlic in the Caesar salads, and in the entrees as well, for my taste, but my wife really loved it. The atmosphere is a strange mix of nautical and tuscan, and we were seated away from the fireplace so we were a bit cold. The server was a young man, attended to our every need, and did a great job explaining the menu options and timing the courses. Overall I’d give it an 8 out of 10, but I’d recommend it to others.
