Great Italian. We are Traverse City residents who dine often at Tuscan Bistro. We find that we are most often able to get a reservation without a problem, the service is excellent, and the food superb. Nice views of the bay from some seats. Great caesar salads, and a wide variety of Italian specialties. One of few places with half portion options. Indoor or outdoor seating in season.Ordered a special recently with penne pasta and a creamy tomato sauce featuring mushrooms and sausage, and it was terrific. We were able to order it next visit even though it wasn’t on special.Only down side is a wine list of nearly exclusively Italian wines, only one domestic.
