Great atmosphere. Upbeat staff and food was very good. Would recommend.
Greek Salad and Gyros. We were shopping for Christmas on a Friday afternoon and stopped in for a quick lunch. The atmosphere is what you’d expect – grungy – but that’s what you sign up for when you go to the U&I. We split a Greek Salad dinner and a gyro, both really excellent. Great food for not a lot of money.
Not that great. I went there for lunch it took 45 min to get my food the place was slow most likely the cooks were smoking and wait staff are use less the food is ok at best I had better food at the better food at the ball park at least you get it before chrismas.
My favorite sports hangout. There is something about this place that keeps me coming back. It has been around since the 30’s (I knew the original owner), and to me, it has this old town charm to it. I always order a chicken gyro which is one of my favorite things in TC! If you’re looking for an elaborate meal with wait staff doting on you, look elsewhere. If you want to watch a game and have some good eats, this is your place!
Bummed out. Place smelled bad when you walk in. (On Saturday afternoon anyway) Food (burger and grilled cheese) was actually okay. Service started out good but then server got distracted and forgot about us. Again, no specials mentioned. Went there years ago and liked it but for sure not the same place. Might go back for a beer sometime in the evening I guess.
