Sushi is not bad but they buckle and dime you to death. We wanted to substitute out the salmon for something else, sure, we can do that for $1 extra. We wanted to add jalapeo to a roll, sure, we can do that for $1 extra and finally we wanted to add avocado to a roll, guess what they said, you got it, we can do that for $1 extra. These extras almost double the price of a roll. I’ll take my money somewhere else.
Run don’t walk to one of North America’s BEST sushi places. Tae-Uk(Tim) the owner chef is very creative and serves up delicous daily choices and a regular repertoire of eye candy that any sushi lover will go wild for; fairly priced with generous portions. He makes his own Tamago(egg dish for sushi) and their own fresh salad dressings, etc. So forget the grocery store sushi fast food counter and get on over to WOW Sushi.
I 2nd that!. What Christine said is absolutely correct. We love sushi, and this is right around the corner. It is right up there with the best places we’ve been to. We get take-out at least twice a month from here, quality is top notch, and the price can’t be beat! The only thing it lacks is a bar to get drinks at…..
Wow Sushi is great!. We just moved from Royal Oak to Troy and were initially bummed that we’d be further from our then-favorite sushi restaurant in Royal Oak. We tried Wow Sushi and I have to say that it beats our old favorite hands down. The ambiance isn’t quite like the more expensive restaurants, but the quality is excellent, the variety is amazing, and the price can’t be beat. We literally pay half what we used to for sushi and like what we get at Wow Sushi better. Try some of their sushi combos like the Michigan and Troy rolls, and the American rock combo.Yum!
