So we were in Grand Rapids on vacation and we decided tonight we would have Mexican for dinner. We asked the girl at the front desk where she would recommend and she said Cinco de Mayo with no hesitation. I am no food critic; but, I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night. Anyway … she was spot on. We had our dinner carry out. My wife and kids had beef enchiladas. No complaints. Those are hard to mess up. I had the special of the night, fajita quesadilla (steak). It was fantastic. Really. We opted for an order of queso charro. It was very tasty. We were quite satisfied. I would not hesitate to return, even if I was comparing this to our favorite spot back home. The food was excellent and the check was fairly reasonable. The staff was friendly. I am not sure what else you are looking for here. Give them a try.
