Like all things in Lansing, this place is a bit run down and at noon on a Tuesday was a ghost town. BUT, don’t judge a book by its cover. I’ve been here 3 times now and, while I haven’t been overly impressed in any particular way, I haven’t left disappointed either. First, they have NTN Buzztime Trivia. Mega points. Second the food is pretty decent. It’s not gonna win any awards, but it’s solid and filling. It can be a bit of a belly bomb, but you’ll happily eat most everything on your plate. Third, the staff seems to be good folk. Today, I ordered the Italian Roast Beef sandwich and she accidentally brought me an Italian Classic sandwich, instead. No biggie, it was my second choice, anyway. She apologized profusely and kept offering to replace it or give me a free side or to go order even though I was clearly ok with what I got. She just truly wanted to make sure I left happy and that made me leave happy.UPDATE: made a second trip here a few days ago and had a different server. This one was MUCH less pleasant. She had a crap attitude and billed my colleague for a full size salad when he asked for (and got) a SIDE salad. He didn’t say anything because we were in a hurry, but I’d bet she would’ve been a jerk about it anyway. So it’s apparently luck of the draw as to what you may experience.

Honestly the BEST and most unique cheese bread you will ever have!! The jalapeno poppers are also different from anywhere else. The cheese bread is made with mozzerella and gorgonzola cheese and the poppers are made with red jalapenos and come with a phenominal jam for dipping! Perfect blend of hot and sweet! Delicious!
