Stopped in for dinner for the first time. Arnie’s is very reminiscent to the older diners you can find all over the east side of the state. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted when I sat down, but after seeing the menu I wanted to try everything. I ordered a full sandwich which turned out to be way more than I could eat. The food was really good though. As I guessed the bread was really good since Arnie’s is a bakery after all. I tried the cheese soup that my fiance ordered, but didn’t care for it. Wait staff was very courteous and made sure to check back for anything we needed. All in all I’d say this place is great choice for lunch or early dinner. Not really the place I would choose for a night out, but I don’t think they are trying to be that kind of place. I’ll more than likely be returning sometime in the near future.
