Cool atmosphere and decent food. The menu charges for sides, which seemed kinda cheap. Waitstaff was nice enough but our waters were empty for a good portion of the meal. Nothing horrible but it’s probably not a place we’ll come back to.

Mexican Casserole. Absolutely no substance! Might as well call it a dip, I had to ask for chips to even eat it… Had to pay extra for the chips!04 Feb, 2015Over priced… No free chips an salsa servers bitching at the bar about co workers. Food is worse than fast food Mexican!

Overall the restaurant is dirty and over priced. Any Mexican restaurant that charges for chips is out to make every penny off of you and will probably take other shortcuts.

Some of the best Mexican food in Michigan. Guacamole had black olives. Never have ever seen that anywhere in my life and had to pick them off ( didn’t work for me). Other then that tasty and fast. Good service too.

The Decor was old 20 years ago. If you can get past the really old, dark decor, then the Beltline Bar is a decent choice for Mexican food. Like many, we had to wait for a table. Once we were given a table, we sat waiting for chips and salsa, but they never came… odd for a Mexican joint to not give you chips and salsa, right? So we ordered an appetizer. The appetizers all cost about a buck less than the entrees, which was kinda pricey. The Baja egg rolls were fantastic, but the rest of the food was average. Our waitress was very personable and spirited, so it was a fun night out. The Beltline Bar isn’t the best Mexican place in town, but it will do. The waitress kinda saved the day.

First, what Mexican sit down restaurant doesn’t give you chips and salsa FOR FREE?!! very limited menu. Dirty floors, dirty seats, dirty table. I’ve heard so many good things about this place and have even seen their tv commercial, finally tried it… They definitely did not deliever. Oh wait, I haven’t got to the food yet.. save your money.

Really overrated. Cant say that enough food sucked. Baja egg rolls not even better than Chilis southwestern egg rolls. Main entre was a fried platter covered in cheese period. Just sucked. So bad. Trust me mexican food it is not. More like Taco Bell on steroids. Pretty disappointing. Had high expectations based on reviews and how busy for a week day.
