Top-notch crab cheese. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing, although the service was almost too polite and demure. We ordered Crab Rangoon as an app, and I have to say that I have never had such fresh, crispy, delicious crab cheese. For my entr, I ordered the sea food hot pot, and it was fantastic! The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The only disappointment for the evening was the lame fortune in my fortune cookie. Blue Ginger was a pleasant surprise for an inexpensive chinese joint.
By far the best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to. Servers are absolutely kind, food is amazing especially the pineapple fried rice – everything is made fresh. I recommend going here whenever you need something fast an quality made food.
Ordered pad thai and got a steamy styrofoam box of flavorless noodles.
Overhyped. I really can’t figure out why so many people rave about this place. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. The food is mediocre at best. There is so much breading, it’s hard to find the meat, which was dry anyway. The eggrolls seemed to be similar to the frozen kind you can buy at the supermarket and the soup was very plain, nothing special. It’s not bad but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Hunan on 44th/Burlingame is much better (and cheaper).
I’ve never been disappointed in any of the dishes at Blue Ginger. Their Mongolian beef is exceptionally delicious and the portions are monumental! I always order a side of crab cheese as well and its great. They are very accommodating when it comes to customizing dishes, I’ve ordered many specialized dishes and they’re always delicious.
I love Blue Ginger. They serve the best crab cheese that I have ever had. I live a great distance away now, but I make the drive as often as I can. Staff is always friendly and food is excellent.
Always Great. We are regular customers at the best Asian restaurant in the GR area. The food is always quickly prepared…whether we dine in or pick-up. The portions are huge…always enough for lunch. The quality is always amazing. The owner also does a great job of acknowledging repeat customers…we always get soup or egg roll for free. We have never had anything but a great experience.
