  It may be the same GFS slop every other sub bar is peddling, but for some reason Boardwalk does it right. Generous portions, good selection, great taste.

  Delicious customized subs. We eat here for lunch often. It’s always the best lunch of the week. The bread is soft and fresh, and there are many sub options, and lots of delicious veggies, cheese and sauces to customize your sub the way you want it. The subs are very affordable, and big enough to make 2 meals out of it. I would eat here much more often if it were closer, but it is worth the drive. It kicks Subways butt up and down the street and back again. Tastes better, costs less, and you have more options.I was a bit disappointed in my sub today (meatball sub). It was very good, but the meatballs were cold. This was the only time I have ever been unhappy with my sub. But it was a rare miss, and I am still gonna call Boardwalk Subs a favorite.

  New favorite subs. My family has recently discovered Tallarico’s Boardwalk Subs at both the Byron Center and Gezon locations. The subs are huge and, while we could order half-size subs, we always order full size and eat half our subs and take the other half home for a second meal the next day. The ingredients are fresh and tasty and they have many varieties of toppings to choose from. The service has been great at both locations and we have yet to be disappointed in any of the subs we’ve ordered. Perhaps my only complaint is that if it’s busy you could wait in line a while since each sub takes several minutes to prepare.
