Rude Owner. I have lived in Wyoming for the past 3 years and frequented the Burlingame Dairy Dip often in the summer. After meeting one of the managers or owner, whoever he wasI will not visit here again. He was rude to my sister-in-law, his employees, and did not remedy a situation that had an easy fix. Very poor customer service, especially on a night when it was not busy. Summary of what happened is below.They say service is everythingit’s true. I visited there today with my wife, her sister, and newly wed brother-in-law. My wife’s sister spoke with someone who claimed to be the owner/manager. He was downright rude. It doesn’t matter how the memories of the place are or what the prices are. But what matters most is that you care for your customers and employees. It was simple, my wife wanted a flurry with gummy worms on top. The employees said that wouldn’t work so my wife settled for something else. However, her sister was curious why it wouldn’t work since she worked at Woody’s on 28th ST years ago and didn’t see a problem with it. She simply asked for a business card, Facebook, phone number, etc. She was met with this gentleman claiming to be the manager. The manager returned her inquiry with claiming that his employees that work there are young and don’t know what they are doing. He said he’s been in business for 36 years and that if we weren’t happy to go somewhere else. All my wife wanted was soft serve ice cream with gummy worms. Rude.
Love it. Best place to go with family and friends if you want ice cream at any time. Love that its open late so you can end your day with a delicious ice cream. My favorite is superman!
Summer Fun!. The Dairy Dip is a great place to go if you’re looking for an ice cream shop, on summer nights we go there all the time, there’s always a line, but the service in great, and the ice cream, well it’s ice cream, there’s not a whole lot more to say about that.
