What happened?. Years ago I would have said this was one of the best Asian restaurants in the metro area! But now sadly, it is some of the least palatable food in the city! A friend visiting form I took an out of town friend there for dinner only to find it was some of the most mealy bland (and I mean the only flavor was that of MSG) mushy food I have eaten! I believe it is under new owner ship as of the past few years.

I really like the food at Far East but it takes forever even when we are the only people there. It’s not worth the wait; it could take an hour. If I have time I don’t mind it but usually it still takes too long. The service and food quality are good, but over all I like Golden 28 better.
