Great Food. Some of the best Indian food in Grand Rapids!!! If you are looking for fast food this go to Taco Bell. This was my first time here, I will go back again and recommend it to all my friends.
Slow service. Its a little pricey and has small helpings. The whole experience is weird with the owner/server having major communication issues. Some menu items not available. Overall I will pass and look for Pals at 28th or go to Fulton Street.
Great food, third world atmosphere. The food here, and the hospitality are great. Very friendly owner, though sometimes a little hard to understand. I wish the recipe descriptions were a little more detailed, as they make everything sound very similar even though the dishes can taste very different. It can be hard to remember what is what. The restaurant side seems relatively clean, but old and spartan. The only bathrooms are on the grocery store side, and that’s where it looks pretty bad. It just looks like a third world market. The bathrooms are old, in ill-repair, and not that clean. You can’t help to wonder about the kitchen…But the food is very good!
Food is good, atmosphere is uhm…. They have good food, but to be honest the place is a little lacking, it’s dark, with poor quality florescent lighting making what little light there is poor quality, it’s attached to an Indian market with a sliding glass door separating them.
