Omelette wasn’t that great. My American fries were slightly burned but still didn’t taste that great either. The captain crunch French toast was pretty delicious and I felt the staff was kind. I do not plan on returning for another visit.
Once a glory…. …. now just dirty. Living in the Ann Arbor area now for 14 years never got around to eating here until 2014. Food was huge, burger about a 4 out of 10. Everything else soggy, overcooked, tasteless. Ambience ghetto trashy and dining area absolutely filthy. No updated signs since forever. Service not too great either. Will not give it a second chance unless new wait staff and it gets cleaned a bit. Speckles of dust coming from every vent in the ceiling and mildewy smell from the carpets.
This is a great mom and pop type restaurant. Love the breakfast! You get huge portions at a great price. Has a pretty heavy feel but for breakfast I usually want something like that. Has a good selection for breakfast, have never tried their lunch.
Over Indulgant Greasy Spoon. Hit this as a motorcycle destination for a Sunday afternoon. The crew got the Bomber Burger (as I did), a pair of pancakes (single serving), a Bomber Dog, and a special of Capt Crunch French Toast. The entire visit was exactly what I expected. The Burger was great and cooked well, also a good bar sized burger with bacon.. YUM! The report on the Bomber Dog was good, big dog wrapped in bacon and deep fried on a grilled bun!! The pancakes were told to be good and weren’t finished. The CC French Toast was amazing and I will soon be attempting at home. Great stop while in Ypsilanti!!

Good Food, Cheap Eats. The Bomber Restaurant has a casual diner atmosphere. The food was really good. Huge portions and cheap prices. We loved their breakfasts, but had a hard time eating it all.
