It blows. Don’t waste your cash or credit. This place is depressing and the food just blows 🙁

Dinner@ Dalat. The food was super good but dissappointed of the slow service. Waited for a least 20mins for the waitress to come to our table. then another 15mins to bring our drinks then a long wait for our meal. This is not the first time we went to this place with a slow service. Wish they have 3 servers during Friday and Sat.

Great for lunch. Prompt service, inexpensive, fresh ingredients, Dalat is a terrific choice in downtown Ypsilanti. Soups and noodle dishes here are excellent. They also have several vegetarian entrees, including lettuce wraps that are large and hearty (served with peanut sauce).

Best Vietnamese in the area. I really love Vietnamese food and found Dalat when I moved to Michigan in 2003. I travel extensively and eat Vietnamese whenever possible so I have a lot of basis for comparison. Although Dalat doesn’t have the best Vietnamese food I’ve had, it’s certainly very good and is the best I’ve had in this area. The menu is fairly typical with the usual dishes. My family and I eat there at least once a month and we’ve never had a bad experience. The decor is average, but for me it’s all about the food.

Great Vietnamese food, period. Like most Ypsi restaurants, Dalat provides simple, but fantastic food. Try a soup, the Vietnamese do the best soups. If your Asian culinary experience is still limited to Chinese stop and venture into the far better world of Vietnamese and Thai food.

The pride of Ypsi for years. People from Chicago and touring bands tell us it’s the best Vietnamese food they’ve ever had. The catfish pot is amazing, and it’s not difficult to keep meals vegan.

Best vietnamese in area. Try the bahn xeo.
