Located a block away from my University, this place serves some pocket friendly Chinese fare. Used to regularly take away from this place for lunch. Have also dined in for dinners several times. Love their Veg Spring Rolls and Egg rolls which are served with amazing sweet sauce. The Kung Pao Chicken is my favourite which is spicy and I usually have it with their Fried Rice with egg. I also love their tofu dishes. Can say that is the best student friendly place which serves good Asian food around the University. They have a nice Oriental Ambience too.

Tasty and Affordable. This family-owned, family-run restaurant serves up the best Chinese food within, say, five miles of Eastern Michigan University. Their selection of vegetarian alternatives make them distinctive, and their prices make Golden Wall an absolute bargain.I’m not crazy about the soy chicken and beef products, but these are available in any dish that would ordinarily include chicken or beef. I usually opt for General Tso tofu. The vegetables are fresh. The tofu is perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender in the middle. The vegetable roll (deep fried spring roll or vegetarian egg roll) tends to arrive somewhat greasy–greasy enough that it is unappetizing. The fried cheese wonton are usually quite good, though, as a side. The portion is generous for the price, and they always seem freshly prepared.If you’re looking for moderately priced, tasty Chinese food in Ypsilanti, Golden Wall is worth a try. Having sampled a few other places in the area, we were happy to return as regular customers, and we are happy that Golden Wall is so friendly and so reasonably priced.
Much better than any Ann Arbor Chinese food with the exception of Middle Kingdom, but by far the most cost effective. Not the cleanest place, but the closest to East Coast Chinese food that I have found so far.
Has a nice veggie/vegan selection! Huge meals that are decently priced.And most of the time they have vegan friendly fortune cookies! Close to campus and the staff are always friendly.
They very good.. And they very nice. I recomend shrimp with hot peppers and peanuts
