Feb 23. Overall a decent experience, good food. Service is somewhat slow due to staff being overwhelmed. Now sure how they run out of 4 major menu items at 6pm on Sunday night, but they manage it and don’t seem to care.In my opinion they are trying to pull off an Ann Arbor restaurant in Ypsi, but they have a long way to go with service and supply.Great local draft selection though.
Solid BBQ!. Pro: Cool venue, great food (I had the black and blue flatbread pizza). Con: Service was a little slow, but not enough to keep me from coming back.
I ordered a carry out. The perfect trifecta. I subbed the pulled pork for chicken & it was over cooked and bone dry, and so where the small and near meatless ribs. When I called back the manager told me that they aren’t responsible for the integrity of the food after it leaves the building. HA ! This is what he said to a Chef ! ? ! ? I won’t be going back ‘
Unfortunate. I usually have a positive experience but today was so bad I have to say something.Myself and a friend came in for his birthday (his first visit).We were quickly seated and our server brought waters…Then nothing for 20min.We both watched as our server went about serving others and not even looking in our direction.I asked the hostess if we could get another waitress and she did.The second waitress seemed put off when we didn’t order from the appetizer or beer menu.We ordered and waited…After another 20 minutes the bartender noticed we still had not received food…so she went and got it for us (this bartender has been great every time I’ve been there).My meal was cold.I don’t want an apology or a refund…just decent service. They were better than Blue Tractor for a while there. I’m taking my business somewhere that is glad to have customers and at least acknowledge their presence. Kudos to great bartenders!
I have eaten here twice and was underwhelmed both times. I really wanted to like this place. Upside should have a good bbq joint. This place falls short. Pulled pork and beef brisket were on the dry side and the sauces are mediocre. Service is slow but the place was busy. I wish them the best and hope they improve over time.
The service is so bad it spoils the rest!. Food is decent, but the service is horrible!… Very slow, half the time they don’t know what’s going on, I’ve had to correct them on prices (overcharged when the bill came), and when I asked to speak to the manager he argued with me instead of trying to fix the problem. Not worth the headache!
One of the worst dining experiences. My husband and I went here for the first time as a Father’s Day treat with our two young children. We got there before 6pm thinking that we were early for dinner. They were out of almost everything. We did not get our food until past 7:30. When they brought the food out, most of the children’s food was not there. Instead of letting us know so that we could select something else, they just didn’t bring it out and told us that they would take it off the bill. My husband’s pulled pork was cold. He did not send it back because we just couldn’t wait any longer. It was well past bed time before we left. They did take the pork off the bill. The waitress placated us a few times telling us that she would bring something out quickly so that the kids could eat something while we waited. That food never arrived. My pulled chicken sandwich was decent, but not spectacular. My children were hungry when we left.We had been looking froward to trying this restaurant for months. I am very disappointed.
