This spot in Ypsilanti constantly has a line for a reason. It’s best not to come at peak meal times for faster service, however there’s plenty of seating most times of day. We were promptly sat and our waitress served us almost immediately. We started with the southwest egg rolls, which were made with their homemade black bean patties. The filling was superb, and dipping it with the salsa/ranch was extremely delicious. The black bean burger was probably the best one I’ve ever had. It was absolutely flavorful and moist. My brother had the mac attack burger, which he thought had a lot of potential (but didn’t quite reach it). The mac and cheese wasn’t creamy, and without any sauce or anything juicy on the sandwich, it came out a bit dry. He loved the horseradish and sweet potato fries combination though. Overall, we had a very quick and filling meal.

A great and trendy place in a classic spot.. The atmosphere is great, the bars are superb. The food is edgy and yummy. My entire group of people had good food and all loved the food. I had a some turkey sliders topped with mashed potatoes and cranberry jelly. With a side of, always a good choice, sweet potato fries. Taste overload.Other pic I uploaded is of a bourbon something burger… I was told it was great! Other reported good was the pot roast.
Best Burgers and Beer Joint. I’m one of those ‘snoody’ Ann Arborites and I gotta tell ya, there is NOTHING in Ann Arbor that comes close to this joint! I love it!! Burgers are HUGE, juicy and tasty. You’re gonna need some napkins. Atmosphere is the best around (especially when AmTrack goes hurling by). They have a excellent selection of beers and good drinks for the non-beer drinkers. If I wasn’t constantly on a diet, I would be eating there almost every night. This is some seriously good bar food. I would say this place is a ‘Must See’ if you are ever in the area.
Fantastic customer service for catering. I worked with Jessica for a catering order that was a rush request. She went out of her way to assist me, meet my pricing requirements and deliver on-time. Upon delivery there was a change of plans from the recipient and Jessica helped to negotiate a solution on the spot to make all involved happy; including Jessica making additional arrangements with another local business. Far and above what you find in a large scale catering company. Would definitely work through them again.
Ypsi Classic. The food was phenomenal! I had the four mini burgers with blue cheese and bacon. I also had cajun fries which gave off a lot of heat. The best part was the beer…tons of variety if you’re into craft brews. The outside patios were also a nice touch. Service overall was a little slow, but the pros far outweighed the cons. I would definitely recommend and will continue to go back.
Gluten free buns… This place was everything I expected and more! They also have gluten free buns. It’s a must visit.
