Great enchiladas. This is one of our favorites. We have ordered many things on the menu. Favorites include: lobster enchiladas – great cheese sauce vegetarian enchiladas – one each of refried beans, mashed potatoes and cheese covered with cheese sauce One note of warning … the chile rellenos used to be excellent and they have really been awful the last two times we were there. They are now over-breaded and greasy. If they wouldn’t have been so awful twice, I would have given them 4 stars.
Worst experience EVER!. Use to be my favorite place in Apple Valley – we had a horrible experience one afternoon this weekend – we are never going back. Even my husband who does not get annoyed or frustrated stated that he would not go back either. We didn’t really have a waiter, food was cold and the people who sat down 15 mins after us got their food before us. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a this place! I do not plan on returning.06 Mar, 2012Great!. Our favorite Mexican place to go too! Do not recommend going with a party larger then 6 people, but they have amazing food for south of the river!
Great food and service! Kids loves the food as well. Very quick service. Had as mall problem with cooler piece of food, but they replaced it with no issues! Go here for great Mexican!
Awesome chips and salsa!. When I feel like Mexican I am always torn between El Azteca and Teresa’s. My favorite one of the 2 places is usually which ever one I went to last! I think I like the food a tad better and Teresa’s, but that’s only because I have been disappointed with the soft shell tacos at El Azteca. Everything else there has been great, though! I think the margaritas at Teresa’s may be just a tad better too, but I think I’k splitting hairs with that one. On El Aztecas side is the decor. Blows Teresa’s out of the water. I love the big old fashion wood tables and the bar area at El Azteca. El Azteca certainly gets the Mexican feel down in spades! I also love that they will make guacamole fresh at your table mixing in what ever ingredients you want, It is fantastic! Then there are their chips and salsa. Best anywhere! They have 2 salsas, a regular one and a white one that are both great.. When ever we leave we buy some chips and salsa and take home with us! All in all it’s a great place. One I give repeat business to!
Prices are decent. Service is prompt. Salsa is decent. Food is bland. Typical Minnesota excuse for Mexican food.
Wonderful!. Everything about this place is excellent; the service, the food and the cleanliness of the entire place. One of my favorite places to eat south of the river.
