Very disappointed!. Have been here in the past with great service. Had reservations on a Sunday night, seated a few minutes early. Service started good. When chef came out he had no personality, felt as though we were rushed. Did not interact with us. Even my kids made comment about being rushed. Told him we had a birthday, never followed up on it. Very disappointing night for spending $180.
Good food, bad service. We waited over an hour for a reservation for 8… We were told we could order one free appetizer per couple for the inconvenience… The catch was we were not allowed to choose the appetizer. Instead we were given crusty fried egg role thingys and edamame… Not exactly worth the wait but our chef and food was awesome and that alone is worth a repeat.
Horrible Service and Management!. I have only been to Osaka once in my life and will NEVER go back. The service and management there was horrible. From the moment my family stepped into their restaurant we were treated like second class citizens. It was my 20th birthday and I wanted to go some place new and nice, but the service we got there was disappointing to say the least. The waiter treated us like we were incompetent, and the manager was even worse. They whispered about us, and even went as far as order our meals for us because they didn’t think we’ve ever been to a hibachi. When a white family came and sat by us they got excellent service from the manager herself. They got refills when we had to ask for refills, and were treated better than us. At the end of the dinner I was so frustrated that I couldn’t even look at them. The experience ruined my birthday dinner and as we left the manager just glared. Again, I have never felt this stereotyped and judged before. McDonalds has better service than Osaka and that’s saying a lot.
All around good. We have had some issues here but we have learned to just be really direct when we order. The food is great, the service is great and our son loves it! He is 6 and seriously would go to Osaka every day if we let him. We have tried Kami in town and that was one of the worst experiences ever..we will stick with Osaka..cant beat the price service or quality.
Not the best.. Gyoza was good.Plum wine too.Service OK. I did not like how much sauce was poured all over my rolls, no way to escape it.It was sweet sticky brown goop that killed all the wonderful flavors of fresh fish and eel.
We love going here. They always treat you like family!!
Love this place!. The food is awesome and the experience of having the chef make it in front of you is great. We went with a large group and we all had a really good time. Our chef was awesome and entertaining. Certainly a place I will be going back to!
