Like Grandma makes. We’ve been here a few times for brunch and been pleased. Corned beef hash is always good with real pieces of corned beef, not shredded or mushy. Sandwiches are hearty with good bread. One of our go to places.
One of my favorite restaurants. Absolutely everything is homemade from scratch. The roast turkey dinner or sandwich is great. I just love the walleye. Super Reuben. Have always had old-fashioned friendly and quick service. Have never had to complain about anything, so have no experience with how they handle complaints. Eat here often.
Homemade everything and delicious. Breakfast is wonderful and the homemade bread and raspberry jam alone is worth the visit.
Carols & Vintage Rose. I’ve been there numerous times…..not anymore though, seems like 50% of the server’s are rude & don’t bother to check on anything. Food quality has gone downhill since they opened. I just wanted to mention also that the Vintage Rose gift shop is not much better. Woman who work’s there watches you & follow’s you around as if your going to steal something…..& will only cater to & help senior citizens. I have no desire to ever go back there. Unfortunately for them I have heard these same complaint’s from others.
Yum, yum …. French toast and turtle coffee was just what I needed. A great place to start your morning.
We tried this place last year when we moved to Blaine but haven’t been back since. The bread on my sandwich was soggy-wet and was gross. The waitress was rude and the kids didn’t like their food either.
Monte Cristo – Mmmmm!. This place kinda surprised me… I saw a lot of Srs and wasnt sure what the menu would be. I was impressed! The menu really varies and we have had everything from steak to fish, salad, soup, meatloaf, and incredible desserts! My favorite is the Monte Cristo! Unlike a nearby Irish resturant chain, this Monte Cristo was fresh, NOT deep fried and greasy and was served with a delicious homemade raspberry sauce! I have also had the reuben – very good.
