Excellent BBQ. Dixie Blue consistently delivers high-quality, tasty, tender BBQ. I usually order the St. Louis Style Ribs or a Brisket sandwich. Both are always excellent. Sides taste great and the price is reasonable for the quality of the food they provide. Thumbs Up.

Hockey family finds Great BBQ. We were in from Chicago for a hockey tournament at Schwan’s Super Rink and looking for a place to eat other than Chili’s. luckily we came across this place. The corn bread is amazing! I had the Brisket Caesar salad and the meat was so moist. My husband had the ham and Swiss and he loved it. My son had a Caesar salad with smoked chicken. Yum! The owners gave us sample of the sides because I couldn’t decide what I wanted. Everything was great! The sweet potato fries had a cinnamon sugar seasoning. You don’t have to go too out of your way to eat here. It’s only 5 minutes from the rink and totally worth it! I never post a restaurant review so you know it is that good.
Finally found a place. We recently moved to Blaine and I came across Dixie bros BBQ. I had given up on BBQ in the twin cities and have been to them all. However, the brisket sandwich was the best I’ve had north of Kansas city. I was impressed.
A Kansas City BBQ Lover enjoys Dixie. I had the 2 meat platter (brisket & pork) with the beans & broccoli salad. The brisket was excellent and the pork was good. The beans were actually the highlight of the meal – WOW. Good food, good service.
Great BBQ, friendly people. 1st time visit today, and found it to be an unexpected gem. I had the brisket salad – something I’ve never had a chance to try anywhere before and was feeling adventerous. The brisket was sliced, looked amazing and smelled great. The lettuce was crisp and sized right for what it was – a tasty salad with excellent brisket and crunchy fresh lettuce with a side of dressing. I opted for the lunch platter and chose chili as my side. The chili was very good, and had a flavor to it that put it a bar above other chili’s I’ve tried. In all, I thought this place was very good. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and regularly came by to refill pop and check on things. I am hoping they might open another one nearer the cities, as I’d like to have a chance to eat here regularly!
Great Brisket Sandwich. We had lunch at Dixie Blue a couple of weeks ago. The first thing you notice when you enter is that it smells like a real BBQ joint. The lovely lady behind the counter was very friendly when taking our order and attentive while serving us. We had the Brisket Sandwich (probably the best Brisket I’ve personally had). Great smokey flavor, tender and perfectly cooked. The potato salad was good. The sausage sandwich was also good. It would have been better had I not been picking from my wifes brisket. The Brisket set the bar so high it is a tough act to follow no matter how good the sausage was. I’m a fan of coleslaw and while I hate to be negative, I wasn’t a fan of this one. I’m not sure exactly what it was. I prefer my slaw a little creamier and it was mostly dry. Not a reason not to go back by any means, just a reason to get the cream corn that I wished I would have ordered after seeing it, after I placed my order of course. Next time! The sauces were flavorful and not too hot, but hot enough to be good. Washed it down with a cold beer. We’ll be back.
